Then prove it? It officially received a general score of 67/100, indicating an above average album at best.

I don't care about critics though, but objectively, anybody with ears will tell you it's mid. It was only called a classic by some cole fans that felt insecure about him never making a truly great album, while his peers dropped nothing but albums that received the universal acclaim. It's also the most musically flawed album released by a new gen rapper.

So, again, how is it dope if it's not considered as a good project by any objective metric?
Hip hop has really changed. We now allow hippie reviewers dictate what we consider classic albums

Hip hop hasn't changed...we don't consider above average albums as classic only because a fanbase with no musical knowledge enjoyed it.

There has always been 4 criteria for an album to be classic (its ok to only meet 1 criteria)

-Undeniable quality (usually the critical acclaim)
-Impact
-Influence
-test of time (10 years ain't enough)

it ain't fukking with old wayne but its better than a lot of the bullshyt these days that don't get even half the hate

you take the beef out of it half the haters wouldn't even have listened to this shyt to have an opinion
It’s NOT better than “a lot of bullshyt these days”, it IS the bullshyt of today. It fits perfectly along side garbage from today, but do you know why that other bullshyt doesn’t get half the hate? Cause Lil Baby, Lil Tecca, Jack Harlow, G-Easy, and Post Malone never ran around calling themselves Best Rapper Alive, nor did their fans believe it.
