Its long overdue....he doesn't know how to act at NBA events. Fact of the matter is that the NBA is a bigger business, and more relevant then any hip-hop artist.

and at "bad for business"...its the NBA, people are gonna show up to and watch games as long as the product on the court is entertaining..what Adam Sandler look like saying "nah Im not gon sit courtside at Staples today, Wayne might be there"advertisers dont give a shyt either, as long as their is a defined audience for basketball, there will be ad money for the NBA, its that simple...actually having celebs like Wayne at games is actually a good look...its subliminally boosts the prestige of the sport, we all know America is celebrity driven mainstream industry, what better way to advertise your sport than to have these celebrities that people worship sitting front row supporting the product? sounds like a good look to me

when say bad for business, I am speaking of corporate sponsors...not necessarily fans. The NBA is a brand and the league will go to great lengths to protect that brand. Advertisers do care, whether you would like to think to or not.

Unfortunately, just because Lil Wayne is a high profile celebrity doesn't mean its a good thing to have him at the game when he is going to act like a fool. Just because he is a celeb, doesn't mean acting a fool is any less of a distraction. How does it look when instead of talking about the game that just concluded....people are talking about "Wayne getting ejected/asked to leave". Fact of the matter is if an ordinary Joe acted the way he acted, they would have gotten the hook a lot sooner then he would have.....and in likelyhood would have had their season-tickets revoked ASAP.

I'm not saying that I agree with what I stated but it is truth and there are people closed minded enough that they would stereotype an entire race/ethnicity based off the antics of one or several high profile people of said ethnicity.

I have enough common sense to agree with your opinion on the whole stereotyping/race thing.....I am saying that there are enough people out there who would see things from that perspective
