Both sides are dirty and have hints of racist behavior. If I honestly had to ask myself who was more racist Donald or Joe I couldn't even tell ya. Biden was behind a lot of the laws that institutionalized many (inlcluding me) in the 90's.

I am not picking sides or judging at this point. Neither of those candidates reflect what I would like to see but who the hell cares.

Do your own homework
One fukking law that black folk approved of from 25 years ago makes you think Biden is as racist as Trump? Who around Biden has come out and said he's racist? :camby:Trump's own family says he's racist and he confirms it daily...negged.

That 62% was a figure thrown out by cnbc for payroll taxes over $400k and it included new york state taxes.

People who are uneducated about taxes have been running with that number ever since.

And people have to remember that number is for payroll taxes. Someone brought up jay z but his ass ain't paying that percentage because he has a ton of business expenses he can write off (good for him).

Thanks for the explanation I’ve been wondering where that number comes from.

We should all take note when people like Wayne or 50 come out to support Trump when it’s clear their main concern is their money.

It lays out plain in front of us which artists truly care about what.

A rich person endorsed a rich person's president :manny:
That would work if that president was McCain but to come out and support an overt racist that said Black Lives Matter is a terrorist organization and is telling white supremacists to standby for war against us....fukk Wayne and anybody coo with this.

Yeah, we really need to dead this "they're both the same!" narrative. They're not. At all.

Biden has said more than once he regrets the crime bill. I think it was used in a way he didn't intend. He's said how he plans to make up for that.

I feel like some people are just regurgitating what they've read on social media without actually looking into it further.

People keep saying as if Joe was the architect of the 94 crime bill when majority of the CBC voted for it.

Representative James Clyburn of South Carolina, who as House majority whip is the highest-ranking black member of Congress, voted for the crime bill, and he made the same point in vivid terms. In his first congressional race, in 1992, Clyburn once explained to an audience in the historic black enclave of Atlantic Beach that he opposed mandatory minimum prison sentences, which would become a feature of the 1994 legislation. “Those people darn near lynched me in that meeting, and there wasn’t a single white person in the room,” Clyburn told me. “The atmosphere back then—the scourge of crack cocaine and what it was doing in these African American communities—they were all for getting this out of their community.”

“I don’t care what color you are, if you are a criminal, you aren’t going to like the crime bill,” then-Representative Kweisi Mfume of Maryland, the chairman of the CBC, said at the time in an interview with the Los Angeles Times. “Beyond that, if you are looking for some sense of security, for bans on weapons that are in our streets, for additional police officers and for programs for inner-city and rural young people, the crime bill helps you.”

The Crime-Bill Debate Shows How Short Americans’ Memories Are

Crime bill was bad legislation that tried to fix a huge problem with short term remedies but I don't think people even know what it was or what it did. It was not the reason for mass incarceration, that began 20 years ago and the crime bill was mostly for federal shyt not state crimes like most felons got caught up in.

Lil Wayne is also a "maybe, follow up"

You gotta imagine most of these super wealthy rappers are looking at that 62% tax plan like :patrice:

Lets presume jay z made $300 million last year, he would have to pay $186 million in taxes under that biden law :damn:.

I know its hard to feel bad for them, and we shouldn't. But let's not knock them for their train of thought, we not in their shoes. Let them vote who they want to vote for, complaining about it isn't going to change their vote. Lets just just worry about what we each individually do. Lets just be thankful hov and Wayne aren't supporting trump openly and telling their followers to vote trump...IF thats really the case

P.s. fukk trump

EDIT: THREAD CHANGED TO WAYNE VOTING FOR TRUMP. ORIGINAL THREAD WAS ABOUT HOV
especially since that was misinformation and already cleared up. These rappers are fukkin stupid

Agent,

Biden already acknowledged that as a misstep in his political career.

Mass incarceration largely began in the 80s, the crime bill was passed in 94. yeah it had a hand in making things worse, but it sure wasn't the sole reason and it's being used as a conservative talking point when they supported mass incarceration before that.
