I think you have an argument for Carter 2. I’m not a fan of any Wayne solo albums in particular and I prefer his work with Mannie Fresh but I think if you need to call one of his albums a classic then it’s prob C2. Also depends on if you include his mixtapes. You could def make an argument for Dedication 2
A lot of ppl would argue for Tha Carter II being his classic. Certainly felt like it at the time. Couldn't escape Fireman.
I used to feel like this, but I disagree now. I think ppl just say that because his albums became kinda "mainstream" and bland after this dropped.A lot of ppl would argue for Tha Carter II being his classic. Certainly felt like it at the time. Couldn't escape Fireman.
You still got That Mobb, one of the best intros in terms of a nikka just barring you up immediatelyI can't play Hustler Muzik nowadays...
Fireman either. Money On My Mind is a different story.
Carter II is definitely a classic

Then you got the Fly in/ Carter II/Fly Out sequence which is fire and pretty creative when you think about it, not too many people could pull off that 3 times on the same album separated like that
Yall in here bring up mixtapes lol. MIXTAPES, of him rapping over OTHER nikkas beats. Calling that shyt "classic" lol watch out. How can unoriginal music be "classic"
