Went from top 5 of his generation (age group) to not mentioned at all. 3 wack albums in a row dont help his casuse either. People are finally tired of dude. Wayne has been part of more wack albums than good albums in his career

Pink Floyd started making weak albums later in their careers and they are considered legends......Why does it have to be different for Lil Wayne?

He's not a legend to you perhaps, but ask any kid under the age of 22 and you'll get a much different answer. The talk about him the way me and my friends talk about Nas, Jay, etc. So yeah. Wayne is absolutely a legend.

As irrelevant and mediocre as he may seem now many people will never forget he had an incredible run from 03-08...whether you liked the music or not you couldn't go nowhere and not hear this dude's mixtapes blarin'. I'm talking about the hood, suburbs, colleges EVERYWHERE. I haven't really fukked with Wayne since the No Ceilings tape but no one can deny this. fukk everything he's done since then though.

Pink Floyd dropped what is considered one of the greatest albums of all time in their genre which also happened to be one of the highest selling & one of the most influential. What's Wayne equivelant to that? carter 2? :dead:

I agree that once you reach legendary status, no number of wack albums will take that away....problem is, he never reached legendary status. :ld:
