Wayne can't win with most his old fans because they're not just comparing material.. But moments in time. You're never going to feel how you felt when first hearing Wayne's then, out there style. Now, you have not only been used to Wayne for the past 8 or more years, there are also countless artists who have capitalized from some part of his repertoire.

It's not like dude has vastly regressed, although that's what most would say. You can argue he hasn't grown enough from mixtape Weezy but he's still THAT same Wayne.

Yeah I was gonna post about how Wayne is trash now but I think the rap game has simply passed him up, his style is played out.

I've said it to, but then you hear some new Wayne bars and understand dude never lost a step. Musically he's always lacked where his bars excelled imo

He's definitely looking for his place back in the mainstream though.
