As far as rap artists go lil wayne is arguably the realest ever. You watched this dude go from a grimey teenager to a fukking icon. Literally the biggest name in rap (and arguably pop music) for a good minute. And he did all of that rapping. Hes not a trapstar. Hes not a gangster. Hes not a business man. That short nikkas a rapper who pushed it to the limit. And with the way rap music is now a days he might be the last real rapper we ever see.

You can still see lil waynes mark on the game in 2015. 7 years after his run on top started. And you could argue that he still hasn't fallen. And he was in the game for how long before that? Come on breh. Be real with yourself.


Drake is a fraud. Undeniable fact. He also makes hot songs. i can respect that but i'll never respect him as a rapper the way i do lil wayne. And even though hes hot right now he'll never be able to touch peak wayne. His catalog will never compare. Most of his singles don't even age well.

His lyrics and his flow don't sound good. The style with which he says his words does not sound good. it sounds inorganic and if you listen to his songs a few times back to back it becomes so obvious you gotta turn this nikka off. i'll call him a good pop star. A Brittney Spears. But dude is not a good rapper.
