He sold a PORTION of Nicki Minaj and Drake masters that HE owned. He didn’t have 100% ownership on all Drake and Nicki masters.

Also, Nicki and Drake restructured their deals right around 2020-2021, around the same time he sold his masters, so he only sold what he owned of their releases to 2019-2020. So 5 Drake albums and a mixtape (IYRTITL) and 4 Nicki albums.

Still a dumb ass deal easily could’ve sold that for 250-300 million if he held for a few more years. But probably means Wayne is broke and needed liquid cash desperately to cover his lifestyle. He’ll blow throw that 100 easy if he was that desperate

While Wayne probably isn't where he should be largely due to Birdman practices, we can't use 100M as a desperation move when we look at the rash of artists across genres who have sold their rights.
