But, I'm pretty sure Beatrice will die of a heroin overdose and Slim will burn to death in a horrific car accident before they try that shyt on Aubrey Graham.

Thats not how it works, Lil Wayne's mainstream ascension came around 2004, before that he wasnt that guy.

As far as being at the top like a 50 Cent or Drake, then it would be around 2007-08 for Wayne
was talking about the period of time - only jay has been consistently seen as a serious artist and having a big relevance outside hip hop over a similar period. drake has now on smash no doubt, but wayne got tenure on him

niccas like snoop and luda have made lanes as personalities or actors and shyt, even jay has his bidnessman alter ego but with wayne it is pretty much only the music

and dont no one come in here and mention busta or fat joe as still relevant even though i respect and admire both them dudes

wonder how he feels seeing Drake selling out NBA arenas in 30mins and in 2015 , Wayne cant sell more than 2,500 tickets in a 4,000 venue :wow:

62 Lil Wayne American Bank Center Corpus Christi, Texas Jan. 24, 2016 $165,476 2,287 Sold / 4,436 Capacity 1 / 0 $97, $37 Live Nation
Misleading numbers because I remember back in 05/06 I went to see Eminem, 50 cent, Lil Jon and Pitbull in San Antonio and that place was half empty; and this was when 8mile, Get Rich or Die trying and Eminem Show were still fresh.

People in Texas are just some cheap/ broke b*stards:yeshrug:

nikkas was just playin Wayne's "wasted" freestyle and i couldnt help but :pachaha:

I thought tht shyt was terrible when it dropped but i had the unpopular opinion back then... Droppin trash ass meaningless music like that during his prime or peak is exactly why he in the position he in.

Breh very rarely speaks on real/personal/relatable shyt in his music

Loll haters. May have fell off but he still took his shot and did more with his life then most ever will. Only rappers who never fell off are dead.

Wayne's been in the game since the late 90s, Drake's in his prime it's not fair to compare the two, and rap is in it's golden age as far as touring goes, when Wayne was coming up venues wouldn't even insure rap concerts.

You think Dre would let Enimem past him up? Nope...damn, Wayne. I never even heard of Drake and that Nicky Minaj trick except that they were part of this Little Wayne crew and now they get more play than you and got you looking like you can't even be in the same room with them? Canadian types? YIKES.

Some perspective...Wayne is a 34 year old rapper from New Orleans that is damn near 20 years deep in the game. That he is even relevant in 2016 is an accomplishment. Let's see where Drake is 4 or 5 years from now and what venues he's selling out.
Let's hope he saved up while skeeting in every female he encountered.
Fixed that for ya, Chief.
