in terms of the party & event scene, philly has fallen off the past few years. it used to be a thugged out yet still a fun city. now its becoming more & more depressing each day.

all it needs is a spark tho. that night they retired iverson's jersey, the city was poppin like it used to be.

Philly poverty rate is close to 40 percent but have one of the richest suburbs in America, richest corporations and city government. Shyt is sad man.

Man people in Philly can't even go to them schools lol. UPENN IS LIKE 50k, LaSalle 35K, Drexel 45K. Penn St is in central PA about 4 hours away. Pennsylvania is a country southern state stuck in the northeast. Just think West Virginia in central PA and western PA.

Nah the spots where he goes to in posh cities aint there but there is a hipster scene he could have found up North Philly. The thing is Wayne and Drake on a tourbus driving thru Philly you know damn well they ain't getting off that bus.

South Street and Center City be popping on the weekends. Probably too many black folks out there for their taste tho'
