Wanted to let the album marinate for a few weeks. The feeling when first listening to this was kinda surreal. Not sure if it was a mixture of how long it took to release due to the legal stuff with Baby, or feeling like I grew up with Wayne in a way (as we are just a few years apart and been listening to CMR since I was 13) and have watched his entire career.

The album feels like a celebration of sorts. Emotional even. Don't Cry and Let It All Work Out are constant plays. The pieces with his Moms were well done and really sets up those tracks right. Hearing Manny on a few joints, especially Perfect Strangers, just brings me back to all those OG CMR days - and how great those two are together. Can't wait till all the other songs they did leak that didn't make this album :wow:

Can't say I've been a steady fan of Wayne as there were years I was just not feeling some of his stuff, which is natural I guess. But listening to this, his storytelling especially, is definitely something I have greatly missed in music.

I can agree with the brehs that say it could have easily been cut down, but the tracks that could have been removed weren't terrible either.

Good stuff.

and Free BG :mjcry:

they seem to all enjoy it.

But idk where these old nikkas are getting this idea that Kendrick is some feature "killer"
tons of nikkas have killed that nikka Kendrick on tracks, Wayne aint the first nor is that rare :why: last time that nikka Kendrick "killed" anyone was on Vince Staples big fish theory and that had to do with him rapping longer.

Wayne def killed him and many others have as well. I would give Cole more of that reputation as the "feature killer" because Cole more times goes in before Kendrick.

Trust me... as much as I hate that light skin (but he dark fella) Canadian cuc….

A drizzy line or several would have been the proverbial jizz on this cream pie.

Damn... well he has no more family ties with CMR so its understood in wood.

Btw, my favorite track is still the joint with Ashanti.

Fukk all the incellences here that don't feel it.

OG Mannie on the boards is the equivalent to Jordan's return (not in 01... but 95. :ohlawd:)
