It's definitely not the weed plate I was expecting.
It's got quite a somber, reflective mood, and it really does feel like Wayne has matured as an artist, so I have to give him his due. Also when he goes in on a verse he sounds way sharper than he has recently. I haven't been keeping up with his recent mixtapes but he sounds rejuvenated
At the same time, I don't think any album needs to be this long. Even if every track is fire it's still a chore to listen to front to back. I felt the same about Lupe's album. And not every track lands for me....some iffy production here and there, but overall I think this is as good an album as we could get from Weezy. I fukk with it.

I feel like this album is really for Wayne fans, I never was big in his music like that until later on but there are some decent songs on here. The personal joints are good for what they are cause he doesn't make them all the time.
