Oh yeah a big thing he rectified on this album is having most of the songs having hooks. That was a big problem with CIV. Too many songs didn't have hooks. Nothing to really catch on to. Glad he realized you can't do that on that many songs.

Agreed.

C4 had like the first 5 ones with no hooks.

Terrible lol

Wayne rapped his fukking ass off on this project. Let's get that obvious fact out of the way. With that said, this shyt is entirely too long. I found myself asking "Is this over yet?" about a 3/4 of the way through. He could have easily taken 10 tracks off of this and dropped those as a Road to C5 mixtape. shyt he could have dropped half of this album next year as C6. Plus this album falls into the same pattern as his last few, no real theme or direction. But fukk it, this nikka is rapping his fukking ass off:damn::damn:

Edit:
My nikka @Gator Reloaded never stopped believing:wow: I know @charmander da gawd shed tears of joy listening to this piff:mjcry:

The skits gave it direction

The theme is him being counted out and not breaking down.

A lot of songs about his mind state, not giving up, not Being depressed, his influence etc....

The length kind of messed up the direction but I give him a pass because

1. Streaming era so long albums are more acceptable and good as "play lists"

2. Its been since 2013 without an official release

Facts

Dope nikkas is so hard.

Some real hip hop shyt.

Love it.
I was praying for the album to end and then the nikka has Used 2 second to last:francis:Like breh basically made it where you have to listen to this muhfukka from front to back:gucci:I could also see how he was emulating the flows of his featured artists, almost trying to prove he could hang with any of the currently hailed acts in the business. Kendrick was ready, doe:mjlit:I haven't seen that type of performance from Kenny on a feature in a long time, if ever. The Wayne influence was always apparent, but you could tell dude was hype to be on a track with da gawd. As a fan who has always been critical of Weezy's efforts, I have to give dude props:wow:

Yeah. It surprised me.
I thought he was done musically lol.

But only things I would change are:

1. Shorten the album to 16 songs

2. Rearrange the track sequencing

3. REMOVE SOSAMANN
