he is right. are you retarded or something? wayne is trash. any rapper who calls themselves the greatest of all time but has no substance in ANY of their songs...literally ANY of their songs does not deserve the legendary label. And please dont namedrop that stupid Georgia Bush song he did.

most relevant verse he dropped was his verse on that sweetest girl song with wyclef about prostitution. dude is an embarassment to hip hop. best verse he ever had was the line he made about jay years back and beyonce

and i feel more than half the cats who keep bringing up the Drought projects he did "OOoo nikka remember how good weezy was when he did the draft?" are just saying that shyt to sound cool and half dont even consider it good. notice yall never quote lines from his supposed classic work?

meanwhile i can do that automatically for nas, pac, jay, hov, scarface, G rap, rakim, kane, big.

how do you spend your entire "PRIME"(sarcasm) talking only about p*ssy in your songs and making dumbass adlibs. this clown got excited over the fact that eminem killed him on 3 songs. Like he was ecstatic and got moist over that shyt.

any rapper with over TWO HUNDRED WACK VERSES aint even in the TOP TWENTY of all time much less a top 5. get the fukk out of here with this garbage. the insane critical acclaim wayne gets is a testament to how watered down and pathetic this generation is.

Just hot trash man

"Weezy F baby and the F is for Mcdonalds". thats the time of shyt i think of him as.

this corny ass midget running on stage sagging leopard print leggings talking about new rappers of this generation aint shyt as if he was a rakim that came before them

"I'm in the ocean getting shark p*ssy"

"She said my dikk could be the next president"

"These nikkas think they hard...these nikkas just nipples"

These same nikkas talkin bout "Bu but substance" will turn around and call Biggie the goat in the next thread, while shytting on Wayne:scust:....I agree a artist with substance is a notch over the substanceless artist....but substance aint a requirement to be a damn legend.

Wayne has just the right ammount of substance according to his persona....his persona/image doesnt call for any more than what he gave us...especiqlly in his later years.

Da Block is Hot Wayne is still the goat early teens rapper after BG:mjcry:...and fukk what yall talkin about he was the clear superstar in the making out of the hotboys...just think about he stood out in a group like the hotboys nikka:childplease:...as a kid:wow:

And props to Wayne for supplying that cold truth to these lil nikkas mane:mjcry:

He sayin the same thing i been saying, and yes its the innanets fault.

nikkas being able to leapfrog having to get hot in they own backyard fukked the game up....you dont have to pass any authentiicity test whatsoever....not just in terms of credibility, but does your city/hood cosign that you representing them right?doesnt even matter, the innanets gave the ability to bypass that:scust:

There is no screening proccess whatsoever until its too late.

On the flip i wouod say internet hurt rappers becuz its harder to come off as "sumbody",when everybody think they somebody like this newer generation does,or thinks everybody sumbody....how can people be in awe of you when everybody is considered a star for nothing nowadays.

MF DOOM and Earl are similar is quite a stretch if you ask me. Earl is just heavily influenced by him. Earl doesnt wear a mask, doesnt have the same flow, same subjects, same art style, is way more personal, and way more varied in beat selection. Earl, however, IS boring. That's pretty heavily agreed on, it's just a negative way of saying what his fans say, his music is "depressing" or "Sleepy". At least lately. Don't get me wrong, I liked Doris, but he's been downhill on some whining depressed bullshyt ever since.

Ab-soul yeah that is subjective, but dude's delivery is terrible, Idk how no one else is hearing it. His voice makes it worse. And yeah, his flow is bad.

Vic went from internet hipster chance-type rapper, to party rapper, to kanye protege weirdo, to generic trap banger rapper, to political rapper. Dude is all over the place and it's obvious. Not in an "artistic" way either, more like he's trying to find a niche because his image doesnt stick out and he doesnt have a core audience. He tried to co-opt chance's audience but that didn't work, and he's been trying everything ever since.

he's always been "experimental" and done different shyt
that's him

and Earl and MF DOOM both talk monotone which is why i'm guessing you say he's boring

HIVE isn't boring
20 Waves Caps isn't boring
Woah isn't boring
etc...

Rakim, DOOM, Guru
all talk monotone, and all could be called boring

but most would agree that they are 3 of the best rappers ever

1 person
explain the rest

and and it isn't severe

Lil herb is the only guy on there with upside.
The rest all lack intangibles and don't work to improve.
There is no positive review for those guys till they improve and they are not worth a much longer rant till they improve as well.

Are you asking me this like I am not adept at rating their skill level.
When I definitely am and long term I am the best review personality in the history of online hip hop, too.
On top of actually being a top grassroots rap draw and protege to a legend.

So, I am overly qualified if those artist were worth a rant to critique them.

Yet he was only better than Turk by default. You'll look like a star when you have a pedo dude breaking you in and grooming you.

all of them can rap, Wayne is talkin about star power

Drake the last dude we seen with legit star power (albeit manufactured)

Kendrick raps so good that people are drawn to him, but he himself doesn't have any star power outside of the booth

those are the only two new guys who can drop a track or have an interview that impacts the industry

Exactly. you can tell most people in this thread didnt listen to the interview. Wayne talking about how these new school rappers are essentially Instagram "rappers". There's nothing to them. That's why you see Young Thug unable to push units. Watch all these lil rappers gonna flop after flop

I never said I have a problem with monotone. It's not JUST his delivery, his whole PRESENTATION is boring. And yeah, I said Iiked Doris. Woah is excellent. IDLS is mostly boring trash.

You can be Monotone interesting, case in point Rakim Doom and Guru. They're not boring. They're legends
