weezy never wrote none of the material from the sqad days till now.
only thing he wrote was those wack rhyme book rhymes he committed to reel to reel.
to convince him to use ghostwriters in the place of his never developing skills as a writer.

Not to me...prime era wayne is somewhere in my top 5 rappers of all time...i can through on a playlist of him blacking oout over beats from like '02-'07 and rock to it all day...C1, C2, LFLS, Dedication 1 and 2, and the C3 Sessions are all certified classic projects IMO...from "aging" standpoint just to put it context, Kendrick's Control verse was the consensus best verse of last year...and I wouldn't even consider it to be better than 10 random verses on Dedication 1...and it's a similar style of "straight spitting" rap...the stuff i think that has actually aged terribly from him is his post '08 autotune era work, which ironically birthed the current sound of dudes like future and young thug

Damn that is a good question because he came at a time when the new generation of dumb rap was becoming popular. I mean we went from the greats to Lil Wayne. I mean it is amazing that dip set was the era before dumb rap and the shyt went down hill from there.
