Crazy, Lil' Wayne's career went in reverse. The way/what he raps about now sounds like he is a 20 year, but back then he sounded like a mature 35 year old.

I think these were the years where he actually benefitted from his drug usage, meaning he actually was getting high and what he have now is a burned out artist that now gets high to be normal but really going through the motions artistically.
