We gotta stop blaming teenagers and young twenty somethings for these ignorant takes we’re getting. While I agree with those that have zero interest in listening to this trashy cac masquerading as a hip hop artist or anyone like him the truth is that it’s not his fault that there is a space for him.
It’s the fault of thegeneration that came before these clowns that they have platform that they have. A lot of blame goes to these 40+ year old “bosses” that stans like to glorify. To this day these men have shown no interest in being gatekeepers for the culture. Posters here like to talk black entrepreneurship well all of the black “bosses” in the rap industry financially raped their black artists in every way imaginable. They put on, co-sign, and do features with non black artists that have even less respect for the culture then their c00n asses have.
They allowed these outsiders to be comfortable in our home. They publicly gave these posers “hood passes” and “invites to the cookout”. They publicly co-sign and stand by these dudes when racist controversies occur like Bieber and Eminem’s slurs caught on tape. When are we gonna to acknowledge the role that the older generation played in letting these culture vultures eat off of black people?
Hope all of you young aspiring black rappers realize that you have even longer odds of “making it” nowadays. These white boys and girls have carved out a space in hip hop for themselves. They didn’t create a new genre and even got the nerve to call themselves rappers. That means they’re taking YOUR spot. I know the non blacks and token negros that have the same lack of respect because “it’s just entertainment” to them won’t care but those of you that want to rap because you really love this shyt gotta realize how you’re being marginalized right?
It’s just crazy to me how black people can just shrug their shoulders in real time at this type of shyt while knowing how we’ve been marginalized from every form of music that we’ve created in this country.
This is too real for most of them.
