That's why I understand a dude like Yachty especially with that DRAM song which is the only one I fukk with, I can respect it but I don't have to like it. But coming up with you own shyt and at least making one dope song is always respectable. A lot more to me than just trying to copy Nas. That's why Kendrick is my favorite rapper of the past years, not cause he can spit better than dudes but because he's the most innovative artist out but unlike these funny dudes, executes it lyrically perfect as well.

Yachty comes off to me as a young nikka that really does respect the culture, but wants to carve out his own lane.

We gotta stop making these nikkas feel like they don't belong in the culture, tell them exactly what it is we don't rock with about their content, and also listen closely when they try to explain why they move the way they move.

That's the only way we're going to keep pushing our culture forward.
