Because like it or not he was the one who put NYC back in the limelight..There were a lot of cats makin moves there at the same time but BIG took that shyt and made the world feel it just being himself suited and booted or hoodies and timbs...Not to mention he could rap circles around everybody and not even look like he was really tryin (Hov, Cam, Jada, Esco)

Hell, Dave East new to me but he's been grinding for about 5 years too!
