I'd take a nikka rapping about drug deals/street shyt anyday over a nikka who constantly raps about having his face in some puss I used to be a Wayne fan. Carter 2 still gets regular play from me, but the nikka done now. It's comedy anytime I hear anyone even mention him as one of the greatest rappers alive. Dude can be entertaining with some of the punchlines, but he lacks an all around MC game. He stays on this road and he's never gonna generate a classic album. This shyt is to me, at most, a 6/10.

What I don't get is simply this:

Why is it that folks say Wayne is still capable of being this great rapper... but then only need a 1/3 of the album to be good for them to like it? Where are the standards?

With other rappers, if just TWO tracks are wack, the whole album is wack. But folks are admittedly not liking more than the album yet say it's solid.

Wayne gets a pass more than most for anything... thanks to C4 being trash.

With that said, only 4 songs from this album are good Wayne quality. Gunwalk, Intro, Trippy & bytches Love Me. Which is not a good album to me.

Them shyts wasnt dope...Carter 3 WOULD HAVE been dope if it was what it was supposed to be...dude was barely even spittin on Carter 3...his first verses would be fine..second verses he would be mediocre..and if he made it to a 3rd verse it was pure rambling...see Mr Carter....I know nikkas who mostly ONLY listened to Wayne who aint like that shyt when it dropped...No Ceilings was OK at best...
