female lions (average weight: 265-390lbs) dont usually have that kind of stopping power, or the confidence to hit something that large head on. that's why she was hesitating; she was trying to line something up that she could chase down and pin, or something small/sick enough to tackle straight up. it's why they tell u the worst thing u can do if you come face to face with a lion is run, cause u activate their chase instinct. it's that's also how these 3 men were able to steal part of a kill from a pride of 15 lions.



if you watch again, the wildebeast were squaring up and lowering their heads/horns as they ran past, to discourage her from choosing them as a target.

on the other hand, there's a reason an adult male (avg. weight: 350-550lbs) can run up on 20-30 hyenas solo and put the fear of god in 'em. shyt, the male mapogo lions use to target water buffalo and hippos for food.

Well, to be fair I thought that lioness usually hunt in packs while the male lion just licks his balls until they got dinner ready...


BUT, when it comes to doing shyt on his own (like hunting or fighting other lions/predators) the male is usually efficient af.

Theres a reason why if a bigger male lion fukks up one of the other males with a pack, that the female lions kinda lets it ride while babies are killed off and shyt by the new lion.

This shyt is FACTS... Not just with lions and shyt but in real life.

If you show any fear they will sense that shyt.

Female lions do not have the stopping power of a male lion thats true. I think all animals go for the weakest prey but a male lion still has the balls to just run in there and fukk up a perfectly healthy wildebeast regardless. Mainly because of its size and power.

But a group of female lions can still do the same shyt in numbers.

Thats why to me, Tigers are deadlier than lions. They do everything on their own. A pack of lions is still more dangerous than one tiger but one tiger 1v1 then its a wrap
