It's his fault they hyped him into being the next OJ Simpson?

:dahell:
He was the 3rd pick in the draft and fell short of it.

Anyone who knows me and remembers how sad wasn't going that great while he was at USC. Got into tons of arguments on the old board because of it.

By that logic anyone who the media blows up is going to be an automatic disappointment.

That's BS, man

Reggie Bush has more career total yards than Marshawn Lynch.
He's no bust.

fukk the hype. He wasn't worth the 3rd pick in the draft....period. I just didn't see what warranted the hype and the interest.

Past 3rd picks in the draft have been :scust:. He's outperformed them

Edit: he actually was a second pick.

Reggie Bush is a bum?

That 2006 NFL Draft only had a handful of players with better careers than him...maybe.

Mario Williams -- 4 pro bowls, 2007 defensive lineman of the year
Nick Mangold -- 6 pro bowls
Devin Hester -- 3 pro bowls, 3 special teams player of the year. All-time leader in returning special teams TDs
Brandon Marshall -- 5 pro bowls

That's really about it.

Reggie Bush never made a pro bowl, but he won a Super Bowl. And he was almost never a full-time back.
He's got almost 9,000 total yards and he missed a lot of time with injuries.

Cut the dude some slack.

No. Just no. Dude was the 2nd pick in that draft, and not only was he not the best player at his position, he wasn't the best from his state, his conference, or even the city he played his college ball in. Best RB in the draft was taken 58 picks later.
