Disclaimer: I've only had Hennessy twice in my life. Didn't have that much and I don't recall it being anything special but based on my observation black people tend to love and glorify it on some urban legend type shyt.

Anyway, Me and this chick I'm messing with went down to Turks and Caicos this past weekend to chill. I posted a pic of us parasailing on FB and next thing I know I had 2 cats I know asking me to bring them some White Hennessy on my way back. I said cool. One of them even said he'd pay me $75 for it even tho the bottle costs $47 there.

So me and the chick looked up on Craigslist and eBay and saw bottles selling for anywhere between $90 and $158. We were wondering why people be quick to overpay for it so much. I'd it really that good? Or is it because it's not available here? Because I even googled it and people say it's supposed to be like not as good as the one sold here?

Because this isn't the first time I've had people ask me for some. Every time I go to Haiti, Bahamas, or TCI people be asking me to bring them this shyt. I have a few times but most of the time I just tell them to kick rocks.

Anyway this time between her and I we brought 6 bottles and shyts are selling fast at $100 a pop. I just might keep one and try it for my own curiosity.

Overrated
That’s what I’m assuming because most things some of these cats like gets overrated as fukk.

I sold 4 of the 6 bottles and already made all our money back and then some. Mind you we landed back in the US the night of the Super Bowl and the two people that asked for them on fb were in front of my house waiting for it :russ:

I have two bottles left. Might just keep one to try.

It’s like a wine cognac hybrid. I’ve had higher end cognacs from Hennessy ($200+ a bottle) and pure white is more enjoyable then all of them at 1/5 of the price.
Oh ok.

I’ll go to a bar and have some regular Hennessy tonight and then try the pure white to compare. It’s been so long since I’ve had Hennessy I don’t remember what it tastes like

Obvious Brag thread.

Because it's hard to get, same concept as everything else on the planet.

Oh and this...didnt even read OPs post just title.

Clearly a brag thread.
Exactly what did I brag about, here? That I’m selling white Hennessy? That I travel? I as born and raised in Haiti. I have family in TCI (large Haitian community in TCI). Ive gone to both to visit family . Your president was just calling 3rd-world countries “shyt-hole countries”.

So again, brother what am i beating my chest “bragging” about, here?:smugdraper:

So nobody really knows what they are talking about.

White Hennessey= regular Hennessey not aged in a barrel; from production to bottle
.

What makes any alcohol "interesting" is the method of production, filtration(if any), and how it is aged. This is missing the last step.
