It seems that way to me, she was literally in the fetal position looking scared, I'm watching it now on youtube. Another thing is her brother said in an interview how she wore all white in the morning and all black in the afternoon or something like that on the day she died. From what I know she took on a lot of new age beliefs before she died and this is shown in one of the bonus video to the documentary where her and the company she had around her were doing some kind of wonky new age exercise program that they were laughing at while doing because it was outrageous but Lisa was trying to be serious about it. She was very into numerology and stuff like that too.

You gotta remember this is a woman who every time she was getting comfortable in life, someone she felt an attachment to died.. Very painfully.. It's Pac or her father or her stepbrother or her nephew etc. It's not that she believes a spirit's coming to kill her.. She believes she's bringing misfortune on other people.. That's at the time what she believes, she knows it's not that way but when another person you felt a connection to dies indirectly because of you, it's hard to shake that feeling coming up again. Because these weren't natural deaths, and they didn't start until right when she signed on to TLC. I used to feel that same way.....even when you move past it, you always wonder if you really are right when it comes up again

Interesting.. They were applying the principle of tensegrity to stretches.. Had no idea there was a video on that, but I do that all the time. I didn't think about "energy" with it, but it makes sense from that perspective.. Those people cuttin up though... most of them were basically little kids (like at most 15) and Lisa understood people and was calmer now anyway, so I know she didn't get too mad cause she saw her younger self in them.. Wouldn't have took them with her expecting them to act like angels.

According to her own mother she had the exact date she was going to die but was wrong on it and when the day came and went she let it go thinking it wasn't going to happen. Her mother also had dreams of her death and the boy with a similar last name being hit by her vehicle was also strange imo. It seemed quite prophetic like to me and very creepy. Another thing that happened was one of the members of her entourage had left the village in Honduras early because she said the air felt thick like spirits were around due to the fact that there were deaths in the village of people who went there for healing but were unsuccessful.

How do you know she didn't believe in spirits?

Yeah she dreamed the exact date, but she said herself we can't know when God is going to take us.. She had many dreams of dying and I'm pretty sure that was because she was more alert and thought of death different than most of us.. A literal transfer of energy is a conceptual thing and you're more comfortable with it and more likely to dream about it often if you think about it naturally. If she knew she was gonna die the day she did, she wouldn't have left her room let alone driven without a seatbelt.. Because even though she accepted that death was just death, she was looking to do more in her life

Nah.. Lisa believed in spirits for sure. She spoke to them, including that boy Bayron's. She didn't believe spirits could possess the living. Persuade them maybe..

For her it was prophetic because it actually came to pass.

She had dreams of dying and the afterlife before and after that dream where she had the date.. That one was just special because she had the date, but the date was revealed to her in the dream so no one knows if it could've meant anything serious. It ain't special imo, even if you dream you're gonna die in the next 5 years well yeah there's a fair chance that can happen.. If she dreamed she'd die in a car crash that year then it'd be getting strange.. That's a prophesy to me

According to the article her brother said she felt something would happen to one of the girls in the group after a dream she had. Not that they would die but she knew something would happen.

I take it you didn’t like Fanmail? What are the weaker tracks in your opinion. I love Lisa the alternative rap stuff she was trying to do wasn’t exactly receptive to the casual listener and average TLC fan. I did love Supernova but the sound was def for a niche audience...if that’s what she was going for. But she wanted commercial success as a solo artist

Fanmail wasn't bad but the last two albums blew it away.. Common factor's that they rejected most of Lisa's creative input on Fanmail since she was trying to do another style that included losing her nasal rapping.. And most of them just didn't like her...so Fanmail sounded the worst by far

That's when they were pullin shyt like featuring her No Scrubs rapping on the MTV video so people would buy the album.. then removing her vocals in the actual album, behind her back

Most the songs were aight at best.. Fanmail was cool, like Lisa sounding like Pac in the interview cuts, Silly Ho was cool (but that fukking robot was garbage), No Scrubs was good if it featured the rap verse...Chilli can't carry it alone, Automatic and Lovesick were good and woulda been great if they featured Lisa

Everyone was hyped over Unpretty and that was very very average.....I laughed right along with Lisa when TBoz started feeling herself over finally cowriting a track

I basically say fukk that album cause they screwed her out of writing/producing royalties after she'd already written and produced for several tracks.. Just took her shyt clean off without her knowing, after she promised the fans she'd be on more from the last album. She was still getting money without them and that was probably another reason why they acted slick.


Lisa expected people to be open minded like her, cause Supernova was not gonna sound like that until after she came from Honduras.. But not open minded like liking the music, but just getting her message. However I think she realized that most black people are not woke and most nonblacks have a hard time mentally processing the message she was putting out. Which is why she was gonna do Hot! as the main single at first cause the casual listeners liked that song


After her enlightenment where she saw God, she decided to change the direction on Supernova and not wait for all the popular names she was tryin to hear back from.. She scrapped a lot of songs she was writing and only kept in what fit her new message. She did want to sell a lot and thought she could.. But she cared more about preaching from God and touching people than passing CrazySexyCool sales. She didn't care about the money hardly at all. She cared about proving she didn't need TLC to do well on her own even if she didn't do better than TLC.. To me though that's a moot point since she basically made the group, and she knew that too but a lotta fans predictably did not back then.. Only realized it after she died and 3D tanked

The pattern is telling, the more Lisa was involved in a project the better it was. Kinda not surprising



Chilli never wrote anything cuz she didn't want to. She had Dallas charging 150k per song and giving her money whenever she wanted.. Plus she had a kid with dude.. Unlike TBoz/Lisa she ain't need to write lol

Lisa wanted them both to write more cuz they aint own their music.. LaFace did. So in the future TC wouldn't be able to live off royalties.. They'd still be hustling.

But TC were comfortable, they didn't even wanna finish suing LaFace/Pebbles/Clive after the bosses wanted to settle with some shyt deal (The Fanmail deal). Lisa wanted to keep suing since they were winning in court.. But nope...she had to drop the case cause of them..

Lisa didn't get paid for the concepts.. The labels did. For Fanmail she wrote up I think 8 extra tracks, all rejected by LA or TC. And other lyrics like her No Scrubs were taken out the LP without her knowing.. They just mixed her lyrics out.....

Background vocals too, she might have a couple small vocals if that but she was singing with the other girls on the first album and she told the fans she'd be singing on this one..

Now you know why she said she couldn't 100% support the project
