Literally both those statements are true. Most millennials are eating out more than their parents and yet have no savings.
To be fair, Student debt is stopping people from making big life choices like investing and buying a house or marriage. Eating at 5 Guys isn't on the same level as not feeling like you make enough bread to invest it.
