I actually threw away some CDS because they're a hassle and waste of space lol

Most of what I buy is iTunes nowadays.

These are the 5 actual CD's I copped

Because The internet- 2013

Life Is Good- 2012

Distant Relatives- 2010

Untitled- 2008

Lupe Fiasco's The Cool- 2007 (also brought American Gangster on CD that year)
I copped Untitled and The Cool as well. And Carter 3 that year.

I like iTunes because for $9.99 you generally get the deluxe version of the album with added bonus songs and videos. I copped Life Is Good on both CD and iTunes and the iTunes version includes a bonus song (Trust) plus the videos for Daughters and The Don for the SAME price as the CD version.

Plus it's just more convenient, you wake up on the day of Release, pay for it, and have the album downloaded straight to your phone in a matter of minutes. An album like R.A.P Music or Masta Ace and MF Doom's Ma Doom album are just a click away when at Best Buy they'd only have 2-3 copies which would quickly sell out.

I think I have bought maybe 3 or 4 hip hop albums in my lifetime...Napster and its successors saved me a whole bunch of money...
