What helped me was enabling myself. Started initiating conversation by using observations, asking questions, and just speaking what's on my mind.


Having retail jobs also helped because your social skills is like a muscle. If you don't use it you lose it.

I learned that anxiety is the lack of action. Confidence is the drive of action.

There's thing called quiet charisma. Quiet charisma is based on active listening, showing eye contact and just regurgitate stuff they said to you.

Not gonna lie, I used liquor in the past to socialize

I had trouble tying ties all the way into my early 20s. My dad would show me as a teen and I would always just leave my ties tied (just loosen them up and hang them up somewhere so they would already be tied for next time)

One day in my 20s, I needed to tie a brand new tie and my dad showed me. I almost had it and then a family friend showed me again a few weeks later.

After that, I was a natural
