A person i know in real life. A burden on society type. If he atleast tried to improve himself that would mean something but he's stuck in his ways.

Well just because your immediate circle doesn't have people who don't disresoect black men doesn't exactly meean it's not prevalent. Fact of the matter is there is a large proportion of black women who do not respect us.
You can see it in how they treat us compared to non black men. You can hide your head in the sand and pretend it doesn't exist but it does.


Buutt...

A good number of Black women also complain about how other Black women treat them, many feel we mistreat each other compared to how we treat our Black men. if true, then this issue isn't really about our respect levels for Black men, but probably rooted in feelings of inferiority in regards to race. I guess the two are closely aligned tho...

Gotta think about it some more.

And that's assuming the 'disrespect' is real in the first place.
