It was rumored back then biggie was killed for not paying the crips for security...even mtv reported that..my theory is bad boy paid for the hit on 2pac and those dudes were in vegas to collect, they knew Deathrow frequented all those functions in vegas..they won't goin sit 1mil for a rainy day..

what happened is pretty simple. Both Bad Boy and Pac were in over their heads with that whole east Coast, West Coast beef. Puffy was extorted into putting up a bounty on Pac and Suge, Pac got shot by the southside Crips and that dude who acted as a link between Puffy and the Crips pocketed the money. We can argue whether or not it was Suge or the southside Crips who killed Biggie, but that is besides the point. The origin of the whole mess were some grimey characters from New York, Puffy being a spineless lame acting tough and Biggie and Pac trying to protect their Image to sell records.
