yup. i remember that vividly, that's true.

cause i remember how much Rae hated 8 diagrams and how he went in on RZA's production for that album, lol

he was very vocal during that time

The irony is that a couple beats for 8 diagrams apparently were meant for Cuban Linx 2.

I still think it's a great album. There's some details that could have been improved, like the skits (Rae plays all the characters lol). And who knows what it could have sounded like if everything came together over the years with all intended tracks, beats and features. But the end product is still fire to me, regardless of what it could have been.
Cuban Linx 3 is my most anticipated album.
