Not boxing it in at all. Hip Hop probably has the widest instrumental landscape of any musical genre, so I can't box it in. But it's still not all encompassing.
shyt wasn't smooth, hard, soulful, funky, hypnotic or nothing. It was just different & a lil poppish. It's probably an actually genre I'm just ignorant of and If that's your cup of tea then fine. Don't act like I'm the one that can't recognize what dope hip hop music is though.
