Their last album was their best album in my opinion. If it's the last one perfect way to go out.

Think it was their most consistent and cohesive project. I still think Minstrel show is their best.

But as far as moving a crowd, those early 9th wonder joints sound crazy live. I don't think they can re-create that. I'd like another album before they wrap it up but if not it's cool they left alot of material.

I'm in AC had to go to a family reunion with wifey. Would have love to see the last LB show in Brooklyn. Good thing I saw LB in 09 during the FE concert. They have such a crazy catalog of great music.

Man, I wonder how nikkas like Phonte deal with knowing they’re special, but will never really get that recognition :mjcry:

Those brothers did something special in Hip-Hop and three of the biggest rappers acknowledge them.

I thought the Let the Lord Watch documentary was a perfect way to share their legacy.

Same goes for Elzhi

Man I can tell it sort of pains him, which is why his musical output isn't as much as it should be over the past decade. He should be a multi plat rapper doing passion projects right now.

I really thought Drake would've signed them to OVO the way he used to meatride them during his Comeback Season era. And I also though Cole would at least do a collab seeing as they're from the same state. Just weird. But I know Phonte has made plenty money with the Foreign Exchange projects.

Was coming from AC bumping The Roots UnDun then I played LB's The Minstrel Show and The Foreign Exchange's Connected. Some legendary albums put me thru so many different emotions. Finally some groups that I can actually just relate to. Just regular black men living life tryna make it. How did these guys not blow up. Definitely came out in the wrong era when commercialism was at its peak.
