The realest fakest beef of all time lol...props @Wallyrussel,never seen bruce actually confirm he just dissed Dre cuz he wuz bored and wanted attention....id always heard it wuz him reppin his section and dre just happend to be the lucky target,I guess its the same but one just seems a lil more honorable I guess
.....but shyt still turned out a Mac Dre diss that is the harshest diss I ever heard,u gotta laugh when people get bent outta shape over hitemup bein to hard or ether and superugly crossing lines....only No Vaseline I would say is up there off top of my head far as 0 fuks given disses...too bad the battle had 0 impact to really make Dres diss be towards the top of goat diss tracks list...impact is the only reason u can't,but in my mind its up there.
I do hear people say 40sent Lil Bruce at Dre outta jealousy nowadays which wuznt the case,40 knew the friction between Hillside and the Crest and that even though it wuz just a battle to Bruce and Dre it coulda really escalated....Bruce kinda threw the Clicks name in and name dropped em as if they wuz ridin wit Bruce in the whole thing when they wuz really about tryna get that paper at the time....and back then I don't think 40 quite had the sense of humor on the disrespect note.....he threw a few shots back most directwith the diss about "robbin banks for publicity" always bein a low blow to me,hard to say that when lines about crippled mamas and dead daddys wuz gettin thrown around but that's just how I feel personally
....I always feel like it wuz a battle I woulda liked to see,I'm kinda glad it didn't happen between 40 and Dre cuz I don't know if 40 ego or if u wanna call it lack of sense of humor about certain shyt woulda allowed for jokes about mamas,daddys and personal shyt roll off his back....he mighta tried to send sumthin Dre way as crazy as Dre woulda came at em on the mic....and make no mistake retaliation woulda been had and heads woulda just kept rollin possibly....if 40 felt any kinda way like he did about a Biggie interview,imagine how he woulda felt if Dre dropped a bomb on em like he did lil bruce
....I don't think Dre woulda tripped over no funky azz rap bars to where he thinkin bout murder but if nikkas tried to take it to the streets

I don't know how I'd feel about someone speaking on my family death like that. Crest Side was the ones with the guns and that's why early on E-40's house got shot up. By '97 he had the pull to do that but I don't know about them early 90s. If they was robbing banks you know they probably look at putting in some work with the shooters as something to be simply got away from like smoking weed in NYC.
