Bubbles being a fame whore smut like that is a fine idea in theory (although I think it'd be more likely that Blossom would crash out trying to be perfect all the time lol) but these writers were clearly not equipped to actually execute it lol

A more interesting angle wouldve been Blossom as the crash out junkie and Bubbles as the "wise ditz" that ain't book smart but is mentally stable and sees the forest for the trees.

Wow, that trailer was even worse than imagined. They were crazy for even greenlighting that.

Anyway, a new PPG animated show with creator Craig McCracken back at the helm is in development. However, he said last year that they actually haven't started production yet. So who knows when or if that's coming out.
