No, that was not Nye's point.

...followed by...

The reference to CSI was used to illustrate that there is only science.

Which, excuse me for saying so, sounds eerily similar to what I said...
Bill Nye immediately referencing CSI as some kind of reinforcement for the validity of science :wtf:

No dummy. He's saying that CSI was used as a popular way to illustrate scientific techniques

:leon:

You're right. That sounds nothing like "reinforcing the validity of science". Nothing, at all.

Dumbass.

no you silly fukk...His point was to make a connection to the audience and use it as a stepping stone, not to defend CSI stylized science

Yes simplify the argument to simply reinforcing the validity of science. As I said, and as you keep omitting, creationism believes in science too. However, where creationism differs, is that it tries to define science through 2 areas of focus: historical vs observational.

Your statement that bill nye is reinforcing the validity of science, does nothing to articulate his much more advanced argument against there being two aspects of science.

If you think the two are equal, it is you who is clearly the dumbass. Think of it as an AP test. You know, high school level of comprehension. There are 2 correct answers, but only 1 of them is right. You know, high school level of comprehension.
