I'm betting that the FO wanted Cousins and the coaching staff wanted a young QB so they got both. Someone will trade for Kirk in the 2nd year if he's his usual Kirk Cousins above average levels.

Too high of a cap hit to trade him in year 2. More than likely he'll get benched at some point during that year to prevent the rest of that deal from becoming guaranteed for injury. The dead cap hit isn't that bad after year 2 and the blueprint has already been set by previous teams.

There overrating everything. Keenan is the best slot receiver in the league. Moore is one of the best Z receivers in the league. Rome you have to project but he has all the tools and the playstyle to win jump balls. TE is good too. Offensive coordinator is pretty fukking good and is aggressive.
