This is the type of character Kane should have been all along instead of being Goldar for the authority. Seth Rollins is basically just a powerful monster of the week, Kane has actual clout. Bunch of ways to go about it. Reigns beat Orton cleanly at SummerSlam and went on to win the Rumble, which earns you a one-on-one with the champion.

If Orton deserves a shot (which he does) for losing in a triple-threat to someone who didn't even earn the 'Mania shot via the Royal Rumble then Rome should be the no. 2 contender (behind Lesnar, who'd have the most legit gripe of the 3).

Reigns beat Orton over six months ago and lost in the main event via the Royal Rumble. Orton beat Seth Rollins the same night he won the title post facto gives Orton a title shot opportunity since he may have his number. Reigns lost to the same guy technically clean. Dont get me wrong they all have valid gripes but it seems Orton and Lesnar are taking priority.
