It’s weird to me other than Jersey having the craziest property tax in the nation above all states the housing sticker price isn’t as crazy as NYC so that $4,000 rent can be a nice big home somewhere in NJ that’s still close to NYC.

Depends on how you look at it. Right across Manhattan and the subway takes you there in less than 15 minutes. Jersey City is just an extended Manhattan at this point
But nah she can live in a beautiful home in that state with that money. I guess amenities is every important to her
