I talk about NYC but NJ, especially the parts close to NYC, are just as pricey. You will get a hell of a lot more space and great views of the city in Jersey City. I'm also not hating. If you're making that type of money, you should be able to live in a nice spot. But this is an ad.

This my stomping grounds. My wife office is 1/4 mile away. All those new buildings have rooftop pools. On the weekends in the summer they bbq and have pool parties. This is a dope area for young couples or singles. You can be in the city in 15 min, there is every food you can eat within walking distance, parking for your car, a beautiful park to visit and it’s pretty safe outside the hood. The schools suck though.

I stayed over in Jersey City when I visited NYC before Covid. There’s literally buses every ten to fifteen minutes and they’ll have you in NYC in 20 minutes. What I don’t understand til this day is how the bus got me from Jersey to Manhattan so fast on multiple occasions but when I drive my car it’s slow as fukk :jbhmm:

Bus lanes during certain times of the day. They block off a section and unblock it depending on the day and time. There is also a ferry and helicopters. Very convenient place to live.

I don’t get that either because people in Newark and Jersey city def like the PATH subway better. I’ve also driven on the Lincoln tunnel and see buses stuck in traffic with me

I'm from where Petey come from
I use to chill in Montgomery, Booker T, Marion, we never really chilled in Laffeyette but i had people there.

My granny grew up in the Booker T. Her family came up from Georgia in the early 40’s. She said there were Black projects (Booker T.) and White projects but they all went to school together.

When she came down to DC to attend Howard she never looked back and has no desire to even visit and that was damn near 70 years ago :francis:
