The homeless problem is big and getting bigger.

Maybe this has been a thing, but I just noticed it in the last year. I always wondered why people were parked way off in the far back corner. Then I paid attention how packed their cars be with possessions. Then I noticed the RVs back there too and it hit me.

Man god bless this country and everyone that's hurting.

Ten years ago that was me dun. I was stretching $20 to eat all week, having dollar menu fast food. Sneaking into my old college's gym to take showers. Sleeping in walmart parking lots. Then my car got towed which was basically my house :dead: I had to borrow money from nikkas to get it out of the impound lot. This country is NOT fair whatsoever to people who are struggling.

I'm doing way better a decade later. But I'll never act funny style because life WILL humble you. FAST.

Something ironic about people being houseless and sleeping in the parking lot of Fortune 500 companies.

It's a disgusting infinite loop. We struggle, we need to save money, we keep buying from the same corporations and exacerbate.corporate greed.

Walmart isn’t doing this for homeless, it’s an old policy that was meant for people who go on long car trips or campers. The idea being that they can use the Walmart parking lot as a rest stop and they will likely buy something while they do that. But here in the Bay Area most Walmarts I’ve seen have prominent signage saying that’s not allowed anymore. Probably be a nationwide policy soon :francis:
