LL was the reason why I started listening to hip-hop...

that being said this interview was underwelming.It's so much he didn't touch on.

Maybe cause the last one I listened to was ICE T's :

This was a dope interview to me but yo, that Ice-T interview was probably interview of the year. That shyt was dope as hell. Ice killed it too when he started dropping them crip freestyles.

That was kinda dope, I enjoyed especially his stories of how he got on and what success was like back then.

But I don't know...he kinda sounded suspect over the "Accidental Racist" shyt.

Funny also how based on everything he said about the game, Jay-Z seems to have pretty much the perfect career. I mean, he didn't diss Biggie, but he wanted it to be known that the nikka only had two albums etc.

His laugh is crazy though.

i never thought about Heshee being for a damn tranny. I thought he started his part off with a sneeze and was saying he needed some tissue (blowtishis) in a weird coded hiphop way. He really lost me with the Skevie part though. i had no idea what to think on that word.

I didn't get to the Jay stuff yet. I'm at where he talking about every artist have a period where when they're on top everything they put out is hot.

Yeap... he was dead on about that tho'. Lots of rappers had that "do no wrong" time in their career where people love EVERYTHING they do just cause it's them... but soon as that time passes, then it's like everything they do comes under extreme scrutiny. Reminds me on when Jay did that verse on the Hustlin' remix and nikkas acted like it was the first time he ever had a less-than-stellar verse. When he was killin' everything, nikkas overlooked his slip-up verses, but then they spent '06 tryin' to play dude out over every other rhyme LL definitely went thru it. Even if certain records really weren't that dope, they became 10 times worse when people were off the LL wave.
