No need for me to expound on LL's place in hip hop. However, just recently I realized that I never truly appreciated Momma Said Knock You Out. Always liked the song no doubt, but the history behind the song is amazing because I actually remember how LL was looked at at the time and how people wrote him off like he was washed up. Then he dropped Momma Said... and let everybody know. Amazing stuff.
