I’m looking to start an LLC. I’m tired of workin for the man. A thread on dude opening up his own pressure washing business from last week got me feelin motivated. What are some companies that can be started, with minimal experience/lower ‘learn on the job’ time to be able to bring income in as quick as possible.

I’m in Florida.. so if that helps. :yeshrug:

Pressure washing’s up there for me.
There’s lawn care too.

Not sure what else. I wanna weigh pros and cons. I’m tryna get right yall. :to:

Just happened to be reading this yesterday OP:

I recently started my LLC as an entity for all my hustles and projects (podcasts, business management, billing, etc) outside my 9-5. I plan to get some paper under that and level up into a significant line of credit for future ventures

Lawn maintenance
Tutoring (hire college kids to tutor, take a cut)
Residential and commercial cleaning
Car detailing/washing
Depending on where you live: snow shoveling, cleaning chimneys, cleaning solar panels, cleaning gutters.

I can go on :yeshrug:

I’ve done construction. (3 years) I’ve painted. (5 years) I’ve been a paralegal. (7 years) I’ve been involved in the restaurant and hospitality industry for over 20 years.

Im in Orlando. I know about the lawn care business, and it’s an option.. I just wanna jot down a few options and do the pros and cons things of each.

I’m the typical jack of all trades and master of none to be honest. :unimpressed:

the best question to ask is: How much assets do you have breh?

Because if you arent getting a business loan, preferably SBA loan due to low and fixed interest rates, then you will surely fail...and its best to buy into a franchise or buy a business thats already up and running with clientele..the best business model for that is bread and ATM machine routes

I'll give you a list of what to do so you can have some type of plan since people have already given you types of businesses you can start.

1. Figure out what type of business you want to do and then look at the competition in your area. Ideally you want to be in a field with some competition because that means that that type of business can be successful in your area.

2. Come up with a few potential business names. Check your state's llc database to see if any of the names are taken.

3. This is an extension of number 2 but look up domain names. This will be harder to come up with because the good simple domain names are usually taken or expensive.

4. Once you have your business name and domain go ahead and get your llc. Idk what state you are in but it's usually about 150-200$. In Illinois it was 150 for me.

5. Once your llc is verified get your ein number.

6. Once you have your ein number go ahead and get a business bank account.

Once you have all that you'll be legit and from there you will just have to focus on marketing your business and getting leads and customers. You also can set yourself up to get business credit.

I have a digital marketing business and I did all of these steps in order basically.

You gone have to do the research on your own fam. I mean I'm assuming most good businesses don't go around asking questions like this, especially on forums where a majority don't know anything.

I'm gonna give you a couple of gems.

1. Waste removal. Find out how much your local dump charges for removal. Get a truck or rent one if you don't have one. You can make 200 to 500 a day by posting ads of FB marketplace for waste removal. Only bad part is dealing with flakes and caustic material. It sounds fukked up...but seek out old cacs. They have a lot of junk and less haggling cuz Brehs love to bargain.

2.TV mounting. Learn how to mount TVs. And get the right tools and insurance. You can make about 300 and 400 a day.

A Breh in San Diego is doing this and is 250K gross.
