Look it up.

If you didn't have that reaction...that means that it's common knowledge.

Breh gets his LLC, insurance, business tax ID and a magnetic sign on his van or truck...he has met the bar to enter people's homes.

He just has to have the skills and follow through.

Soft skills. Keeping his books right and making it through the first year.

Another thing is to try to start a business that can generate recurring income. All these big companies have subscriptions or some type membership that charges people monthly. And you can have different tiers of service too. A silver package, a gold package and a platinum package. I set up my business this way also.

I see that you're in Orlando. So you can set up some type of pool maintenance business where you come once or twice a month and clean their pool and do general maintenance on it and they just pay monthly. You will need a type of contract for that. But market it as an agreement. People don't like the word contract.

It's warm all year round in Florida so you can do the same type of thing with a landscaping business. Cut their grass and trim it twice a month. Florida has hella older people that can't or don't want to do yard work so that would definitely work

I’ve done construction. (3 years) I’ve painted. (5 years) I’ve been a paralegal. (7 years) I’ve been involved in the restaurant and hospitality industry for over 20 years.

Im in Orlando. I know about the lawn care business, and it’s an option.. I just wanna jot down a few options and do the pros and cons things of each.

I’m the typical jack of all trades and master of none to be honest. :unimpressed:

You can eat off the construction and painting easy.. You doing work in that now?

Started an LLC doing tax prep. About $350 for the classes to be certified by the IRS, some nominal fees from my state to start, FBI background check to be able to file taxes electronically. Takes a few months to set up, so start now to prepare for next year if you wanna do it.

Sorry to tell you if you have to ask people what business to start. It ain't for you :hubie:

This. OP just needs to work on finding a job they like. Business aint for everyone.

So doin my DD and asking for advice from people that have already done what i wanna do, before jumping in head first means it ain’t for me? :jbhmm:

So I should’ve just gotten a small business loan and opened something up, and made it work?

Good advice fellas. Appreciate that. :unimpressed:

I’m looking to start an LLC. I’m tired of workin for the man. A thread on dude opening up his own pressure washing business from last week got me feelin motivated. What are some companies that can be started, with minimal experience/lower ‘learn on the job’ time to be able to bring income in as quick as possible.

I’m in Florida.. so if that helps. :yeshrug:

Pressure washing’s up there for me.
There’s lawn care too.

Not sure what else. I wanna weigh pros and cons. I’m tryna get right yall. :to:

Since you in Florida the Lawn Care business would be good for you. Reasons why

- Lease 1 lawn mower. There are various sizes, and you can look at many types
- There are less tools, inventory to keep track of, because it's only 1 equipment. That would be easier than another type of business because trust me, keeping track of that shyt could be cumbersome, and the paperwork/receipts/accounting for it would be tougher cause you new
- Get clients from door knocking in residential areas. Have the Lawn Mower right next to you when you door knock. Makes you seem like you legit and ready to Mow their lawn right this second
- Then as you get more income, you can graduate to a more pristine lawn mower

Here's a link on the types you can get. I would recommend a Walk Lawn mower

Use this article and then google Lawn mower supply stores and see there Rental/Lease rates
