hopefully Banks takes advantage this time around. I think Banks tries to skimp on production costs because last time he had producers I never heard of so hopefully this time he gets a few vets in there.

that said, that dude cartune beatz who I never heard of made the beat for sidewalks from COTI and that shyt was perfect for Banks imo so I’m not hating. But it’s a fukking crime if Banks has guys like alchemist ready to give him piff and he never takes them up on it.

Coti doesnt sound like a typical Banks mixtape. The production quality is better. Coti has six featured guest artists.. Banks has never released a official mixtape with more than 3 or 4 features. All these tracks have hooks too. Banks has said himself that he has album of the year. I also mentioned the album length type run time compared to his typical mixtapes.

Just because there’s no disc version of Coti, that doesnt mean its not an album. Its 2022, nobody buys cds. Banks is independent and doesnt have to worry about distribution.

He also charged for this body of work...When was the last time he charged for music??? 2010? HFM2...Everything else has been free since then, V5,V6,CC2, FNO, HH2, FNO2, HH3 and all the singles...COTI was first time he charged for his music in 11 years...It was NOT a mixtape.

and by charged I mean gave fans an option to pay for his music (pre order)
