I brought up hes broke in response to all the cheap producers and features hes been working with the last 10 years despite big names publicly saying they wanna work with him.

Either way the album apparently leaked but I cant seem to find it on any of the leak sites.

If an album leaks in the forest and no one hears it, does it make a sound?

Nope.. it was something else. Somebody posted behind the scene IG clips in the OG COTI thread but in the end, he ended up not dropping any videos at all from it. Come to think of it, I think the only promo for the first COTI was IG blogs and more relevant rappers bumping it

I think there’s a misunderstanding on the “Banks is cheap” stuff. Banks is at a level where I’m sure he’s not paying for features, so whatever reason he isn’t going to bigger collabs he obviously can get is unknown.

Same with producers. I saw Pete Rock comment on Banks IG numerous times bout wanting to work. I even saw Premo and Alc say stuff but it never happens. Banks don’t even go to Hav for beats and we know he has relationships with Hav and Alc. I don’t think it’s a money thing because it’s not like any of them at this point in their career are highly sought after producers.

I know the COTI stuff is albums, but maybe internally they’re not looking at these as the real big album and saving some of the other opportunities for another project

Same with producers. I saw Pete Rock comment on Banks IG numerous times bout wanting to work. I even saw Premo and Alc say stuff but it never happens. Banks don’t even go to Hav for beats and we know he has relationships with Hav and Alc. I don’t think it’s a money thing because it’s not like any of them at this point in their career are highly sought after producers.

A lot of people seem to forget Banks came up under the g-unit/50 umbrella where they would get beat cd's and purposely not look at who made them. A lot of that gunit production was from unknown up and coming producers. I bet Banks follows the same format today and just chooses whatever he likes. Thats why we got these producers no one has ever heard of all of his projects

People just suck off names, so many of the great producers today got their start with G-Unit placements from Frank Dukes, Cardiak, illmind, Boi1da & more.

J Cole took a lot of his sound from G-Unit but if any of the G-unit members rapped on those J Cole beats People would say it sounds dated and stuck in the past

I follow the hip hop wolf on IG and Ross liked the post about Banks album.. then I saw Ross comment on another post sayin he’s gonna check out the album

Ross be trollin a lot but even in the midst of him and 50 war, you could tell Ross low key fukk with Banks but he’s too much of a troll and has too much pride to admit it
