Lloyd Banks - COTI 2 (Discussion Thread)

My take after one listen:

Great follow up. The highs are higher on COTI 1, but the songs flow alot more on COTI 2 and it feels more like a cohesive album, where I personally wasn't a fan of how 1 had a whole second half of slow songs. Felt like two different albums.

That's kind of my take on this as well.

Glad Banks is getting some mainstream publication love on this.

Value check is one of those new beats that sounds like some 00s throwback banger, productions fresh on this joint. Shyt unique to the point where u don’t hear beats like this. The tracks sounds 04 banks

Trapped this album is what I’m talking bout I need that physical asap. Banks is last of a dying breed true south side queens legend. Not many have the ability to give the world a vet project like this at this point in time and banks proves why he’s top tier and this is with 20 years in the game. No skips

fukk...this shyt is dope af and in rotation all day. This is easily better than the 1st after a few listens. I just skip the record with Jada (beat is wack) and the next one that sounds like a Tyga record...the rest is official

Those are the only two skips for me too. Rest of the album is fire.
