That's kind of my take on this as well.My take after one listen:
Great follow up. The highs are higher on COTI 1, but the songs flow alot more on COTI 2 and it feels more like a cohesive album, where I personally wasn't a fan of how 1 had a whole second half of slow songs. Felt like two different albums.
Glad Banks is getting some mainstream publication love on this.

this album is what I’m talking bout I need that physical asap. Banks is last of a dying breed true south side queens legend. Not many have the ability to give the world a vet project like this at this point in time and banks proves why he’s top tier and this is with 20 years in the game. No skips
