Maybe because Jay didn't drop a solo LP this year :ld:

I can see why Jay dumbed down his music :mjpls:

Its pretty clear these Jay stans aren't the brightest blubs in the room :mjpls:

I mean after all, the man did call yall stupid in one of his songs :ehh:

My nikka Nas always kicks knowledge in his music :smugdraper:

Don't have worry about his music :flabbynsick: ing my brain

But like Nas said, Life is Good, no matter what, Life is Good :ahh:

Even for :scusthov: stans

Too dumb to realize all rappers do what Hov admitted

Every rapper who writes especially does this

Look at you giving Nas a false honorable mention for something u think he doesnt do because he doesnt have the ballz to admit it

Guess you Nas stans are the real dummies

ALways talking about "real hip hop" this "real hip hop" that, when at the end of the day its all perception

And while u stuck in the past, underdog Nas stans hold on to your underdog mindsets which you obviously get from stanning a loser like Nas

The more objective thinkers, and wiser heads who look at things clearly see Hov and realize he represents the winners, and he represents progression

:umad: u underdog stan fakkit :skip:

Before LIG dropped, I would have 100% agreed. Banks was the best doing it until Nas dropped his new album. He's definitely better than Jay-Z right now. Only a blind stan would say otherwise.

I got Banks #2 on my list, right behind Nas at the moment. No one's put out as much quality music over the past few years than Banks. No one.

Cut the bullshyt homeslice!

The only thing thy matters is if an MC GETS BUSY

Find me a better RECENT jay or nas verse than this banks one one here

Joe Budden - Remember The Titans (LYRICS)+Download [Ft. Lloyd Banks, Fabolous, Royce Da 5'9] HD - YouTube

The fact is banks got bars! And jayz and nas been resting on reputation using the same damn flow for the past few years. Banks still does songs with credible mc's while jay and nas are performing duets with Ross and Wayne! It's like Lebrun James playing a high school kid one on one.

Banks had the 2nd to worst verse on this track lmao

dude got outshined by Joey and Royce... and Fab was just wack

I guess Hov said it best

If skills sold, truth be told, I'd probably be
Lyrically Talib Kweli
Truthfully I wanna rhyme like Common Sense
But I did 5 mill' - I ain't been rhyming like Common since
When your cents got that much in common
And you been hustling since, your inception
fukk perception. Go with what makes sense

Hov's perception of skill is exactly what it is...His perception
Doesnt make any sense to lose money and sacrifice global critical acclaim for the sake of mere perception.

Hov...ur life lessons are just :wow:

V6 or cc2 >>>> LIG and WTT

Right now. Not in 1994. Right now. Not in 1998.

Right now Lloyd banks is putting out better music than both artist and his NYC style of lyricism has surpassed them both

How so?

If banks jay an nas did a song together banks would have the best verse.

If nas or jay were to battle banks they would lose.

Lloyd banks is the superior MC RIGHT NOW

This thread has proven to me the "he doesnt make good music" argument is trash and needs to be thrown out

nikkaz comparing Banks to Hov on a musical level is insane to me

But I guess opinions are opinions

SO I guess Ima have to use the more objective things like stats, acclaim, etc. :manny:

Then yall underdog stans gon be likee "WAAAAH WAAAH THATS NOT FAIIIRRR U HAVE TO TALK BOUT THE MUSICCC"

Hey we alrdy proved dat doesnt do us any good :yeshrug: :skip:

That biter argument is the biggest myth in hip hop

But your refusal to take Jay's explanation at face value and to assume a reason and run with it as fact and then condemn Hov for what you assume to be his reason....well...dats just insane

But ya Ive alrdy murdered u when it comes to Hip Hop analysis

You're nothing more than a bitter stuck in the past ass nikka still talkin bout sht like "We need real hip hop back":old:

That's the realest thing jay ever said. Only problem I have with jay is he seems to have ran out of things to rap about he raps pretty much now only about how rich great and legendary he is .

But I agree deep down he wants to rap like Nas, Nas was probably about thinking Jay and his stans when he wrote the song below

But he was beefing with Nas when wrote that song w/ the 5 mil line so he couldn't admit his admiration for Esco because he would look like a sucka. :skip:
