We almost never agree....but we do here for the most part.
I actually think DMX perfected Tupac's delivery style but I don't know about two steps. Tupac has songs that are still relevant in social aspects.

and X would lyrically outshine people like the LOX, mase, jay, etc, while 2pac was lyrically out-matched by the outlawz.

I was speaking more from a musical standpoint as I have never met DMX / don't know him, obviously.
I didn't know about half of these to be honest, even the Game/Spider Loc thing and supposedly I am the biggest Game stan on this board.
X always was lyrically garbage, where he shined was aggression and mic presence. He has almost zero quotables and I cant think of one X line which impressed me from a lyrical standpoint, straight ABC cat hat shyt. He a legend though and an amazing artist.
