I remember a point way back when his shyt was freeze frame worthy ... you'd have to rewind his punchlines a few times

He needs better beats so he can just go the fukk in, none of this harmony bullshyt ... maybe just do a tape with Yayo ... let him lay the tracks out and spit a verse or 2 every song ... he needs to get back on that raw shyt, almost just acapella. I think that ladies man shyt fukked his vibe up

I feel like he did just that on his last few mixtapes. That's when he's at his best...just spitting raw shyt. He's not a radio type artist.

People complain about the current state of hip hop but knock a guy like Lloyd Banks that just puts out quality rap. It's crazy to me.

Re: Banks retiring...I don't really think you can "retire" if you're an artist. He;s a creative dude, and I'm 99% confident that we will hear Banks rhyme again.

It may be a long time, but creative people create shyt. That's just how it goes. Look at how many rappers in their 40's right now are putting out some of their best material. Banks is still in his early 30's.

I guess it's possible that he doesn't release any music again, but I wouldn't bet on it.
